What Membership Costs

In 2026, RIPE NCC membership costs €1,000 to join and €1,800 per LIR account per year, plus €50 per ASN and €75 per independent assignment (ripe-848). From 2027 the annual fee is €1,894 per LIR account, with the first ASN included (ripe-867, adopted in May 2026). Our 2027 charging scheme explainer lists every fee line.

Members sign the RIPE NCC Standard Service Agreement, pay the annual fee and keep their registration data in the RIPE Database accurate.

If your network needs one ASN or one PI block, a sponsoring LIR costs less than membership. Through us, an ASN costs €130 a year, the €50 RIPE NCC fee included. An IPv6 PI assignment costs a one-time €300 setup fee plus €135 a year. The membership costs and benefits article compares both routes.
