What's Included
Policy Compliance Check
We check the rules of both registries before anything is filed: the needs test at the receiving side and the holding periods on your block. At the RIPE NCC, IPv4 and 16-bit ASNs cannot be transferred again for 24 months after they were received.
Dual RIR Coordination
Management of communications and requirements with both RIRs involved in the transfer.
Documentation Preparation
We prepare the transfer request, the needs justification when the receiving registry asks for one, and the supporting documents.
Transfer Monitoring
We follow the request until both registries have recorded the transfer, and keep you informed by e-mail.
Supported Transfer Routes
LACNIC does not transfer AS numbers to other registries, and transfers involving ARIN cannot include IPv6. AFRINIC transfers are not possible today: the RIPE NCC and ARIN do not accept them.
Registry fees come on top of our quote: the RIPE NCC charges no transfer fee, ARIN charges the source USD 500 and the recipient a processing fee, APNIC charges 20% of the annual fee for the resources moved, and LACNIC charges an administrative fee set by block size.
