Registered to Your Organization
The RIPE NCC assigns the block to your organization directly. It stays yours as long as the sponsorship contract and RIPE policies are respected.
Routing Flexibility
Announce the block from your own ASN or from your provider's, through one upstream or several.
Your Own RPKI
You create the ROAs for the block in your own RIPE NCC hosted CA. Submit your maintainer from the dashboard and we add it to the block to unlock the CA.
Application Process
Eligibility Assessment
We check your organization's registration documents, your identity and how you plan to use the block. Multihoming is not required for IPv6 PI.
Documentation & Justification
We prepare the request with your addressing plan, the reason for PI rather than PA space and the signed sponsoring agreement.
RIR Submission
We file the request with the RIPE NCC and answer its questions during the review.
Assignment & Setup
The RIPE NCC assigns the /48 to your organization. Your dashboard then holds the LOA for your upstreams and the RPKI unlock.
